Rinse cans. Remove and recycle metal lids, including paint can lids. A thin skin of dry latex paint left in can is okay. Place in Blue Bin. Set out scrap metal bundled or loose. |

Rinse. Remove caps
& lids. Okay to recycle metal lids. No need to remove paper
or plastic labels. Place in Blue Bin. |

| Plastic (New!) All plastic with the #1 symbol on the bottom, including soda and juice bottles and deli containers |
Rinse. Remove and throw away plastic caps & lids. No need to remove paper or plastic labels. Place in Blue Bin. |

| Plastic Bottles
(New!) Colored and uncolored (like milk and detergent) with the #2 symbol on the bottom |
Rinse. Remove and throw away plastic caps & lids. Place in Blue Bin. |

| Milk & Juice Cartons & Drink Boxes (New!) | Rinse. Remove and throw away straws. Place in Blue Bin with bottles and cans. |

Mixed Paper
|
Place in Green Bin. All mixed paper, newspapers and thin cardboard can be mixed together |

Set out in brown paper bags or tied with string |
Do not bag with plastic bags |
| Cardboard (New!) Boxes and other corrugated cardboard |
Flatten & tie with string to save space in trucks. Keep bundles less than 2 1/2 feet long, or wide. Place next to Blue & Green Bins. |

| Thin Cardboard (New!) Any thin cardboard such as shoe, cereal and cookie boxes, toilet paper rolls, etc. |
Remove any wrapping or plastic lining. Crush or flatten to save space. Place in Green Bin. |
