Re:             Storm Debris Drop Off & Collection 

 

The Department of Public Works has announced that all debris created by the tropical storm Irene on August 28 must be set out for collection at the curb no later than Friday September 23, 2011. Residents are no longer permitted to drop off material at satellite collection sites throughout the city. As of September 24, 2011 all material must be set out for collection by the residential yard debris collection contractor and must follow the usual regulations of being 4 feet in length, tied in bundles or in barrels or paper bags.

 

The Forbes Street Compost site will be open Saturday October 1, 2011 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM for residents to drop off vegetative material.
