Winter Storm Watch in effect from late tonight through midday tomorrow. A cold front moving through today will stall offshore closer to us than it looked earlier, and a storm moving along it will bring rain late this evening, changing to wet snow overnight. The cut-off on heavier snow will be sharp; for now I'm thinking 3-5 inches of snow locally with a little more to our east over southeastern Mass., tailing off around the noon hour tomorrow. Prepare for a slow morning commute as a slushy accumulation is possible in the roads by that time. Meanwhile, we stay in the 50s right into this afternoon before temperatures drop off by dark.
Make sure to check the East Providence website for updates on cancellations or possible delays.
