11/15/2010 - Thanksgiving Day donations now being accepted

The Human Services/Affirmative Action office, working with EPPC, is looking to provide 25 local families with a great Thanksgiving Day holiday. What better way to instill the Thanksgiving Day tradition by helping others in your community!

Donations are being accepted in the foyer at City Hall or contact the below individuals for more information:

Suggested items:

**** Gift cards for turkeys: any dollar amount is welcome! ****

Can Vegetables: corn, peas, carrots, yams, squash, canned cranberry sauce, pumpkin filling, turkey gravy, pie fillings, etc.

Boxed & Bagged Items: stuffing, rice, instant potatoes, pasta (elbows, ziti, penne), bread mixes, bisquick, cereal, desserts (cake mixes, pie crusts, pudding), etc.

Condiments: salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, seasonings, etc.
