***Change in Trash Collection Start Time***
Due to the Labor Day Holiday, all rubbish, recycling and yard debris normally collected on Monday September 6 will be collected on Saturday September 4.
The start time for collection on Saturday September 4 will be delayed to 7:30AM. All residents in the Rumford area are asked to put their materials at the curb for collection on Saturday morning due to potential high winds from Earl on Friday evening into very early Saturday morning.
Please do not put materials at the curb Friday evening or before 6:30AM Saturday.
***Special Announcement for Boat Owners***
As of noon Thursday, the East Providence Harbormaster asks boat owners with boats moored in East Providence to begin removing them, or move to a sheltered marina. All local Marinas have been contacted and are taking steps to secure their facilities and are removing vessels at customer request. Cove Haven Marina is accepting vessels looking for safe harbor.
