Water Utilities Division

The Water Utilities Division is composed of a Superintendent, who reports directly to the Public Works Director; three Supervisors, two lead workers, six water utility mechanics, four utility operators, two caulkers/inspectors, seven laborers, and a clerk typist.

The Division provides water service to all East Providence residents and businesses. The Division also maintains the water system infrastructure needed to supply that water, including transmission and distribution lines, storage facilities, pumping stations, and water meters.

The Water Utilities Division is located at 60 Commercial Way.

To report a water break call the Water Division at 435-7741 during business hours Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 p.m. or contact Police Dispatch after hours and weekends at 435-7600.

Sewer Rates                             $7.78/100 cubic feet ($0.0778) after the 1st 875 cubic feet

Fixed Sewer Fee                       Based on the water meter size
