City of East Providence Budget Commission

 

Purpose of the City of East Providence Budget Commission

 

The purpose of the City of East Providence Budget Commission is to initiate and assure the implementation of appropriate measures to secure the financial stability of the City.  The Commission was established by the Director of Revenue on December 20, 2011 and will remain in existence until abolished by the Director of Revenue. 

 

As established under RIGL 45-9-6, the Budget Commission consists of five (5) members.  Three (3) are designees of the Director of Revenue, one is the elected chief executive officer of the city and one is appointed city manager.

City Representatives:

Bruce Rogers (East Providence City Council President/Mayor)

Peter Graczykowski (East Providence City Manager)
