Just imagine the smiling faces of your friends and relatives when you invite them to a party at the Crescent Park Carousel.  That’s right; you are now able to rent the carousel for almost any type of function.  Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, fashion shows, business meetings, showers, fund-raising, business luncheons, card clubs, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, family and class reunions, will all have a touch of nostalgia to them when held at the Carousel.  Also, appointments can be made for taking wedding photos.   For information, contact the Carousel office.

 

                                 Birthday Parties

 

Why not celebrate your child’s next Birthday Party at the Crescent Park Carousel.  What better way to make a child’s face glow with excitement, than a fun filled birthday party for a maximum of 20 guests.  (A minimum of 10 guests required).  Parties are limited to children age 10 and under.  If adults are included in your child’s party, they must purchase a ticket to ride the carousel.

 

Birthday parties have a time limit of two hours, 12:30–2:30 p.m. or 3:30–5:30 p.m. Parties may be booked at specified times during normal operating hours only and are not available on Sundays.

 

For a minimal fee of $10.00 per guest your party will include:

• An area to hold your party in the Carousel pavilion, or weather permitting at our picnic area. 

•  A birthday party ride sticker for each child for unlimited carousel rides for party duration. 

• Small bag of fresh, hot popcorn

• Balloon bouquet for the birthday boy or girl

•  Helium balloon for each guest

You provide your own invitations, paper goods, birthday cake & refreshments for your guests, and any theme decorations desired.   Favors are available at an additional charge, please check with the Carousel office for availability and cost.

Educational Programs

 

Educational Field trips are available for all students and youth organizations.  The program features a lecture on the history of the Carousel and its creator and gives them the opportunity to enjoy the carved beauty of this moving museum.  The tours are about one hour long and include rides on the Carousel.  Each student receives a brochure for further study information.  The cost is $2.00 per student.  Call our office for more information or to schedule your tour.
